I work with people who find themselves in moments of transitions and experiencing the complex emotions that arise in those moments. I have a deep interest in women's life transitions--including experiences of fertility and infertility; pregnancy, pregnancy loss, abortion, birth, and infant loss; postpartum experiences and the adjustment to becoming a parent and parenting; leaving or re-entering the work force; and the empty nest--and I have expertise in meeting people wherever they are on the path of parenting. I also work with people experiencing with other kinds of losses, including medical challenges.
I also work with gifted adults: those who seek intensity, complexity, and depth, even when it makes them feel odd or alone or abandoned.
I welcome new clients and I am grateful for a wide diversity of racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, philosophical outlooks, ages and life challenges in my private practice.
I see my work as an opportunity to learn with and from my clients, as well as an opportunity to counsel and support.
I have chosen to work with individuals, rather than couples or families, so that I can give you--and you alone--my full attention.
